The \”Signature Bridge\” the new landmark of Delhi connects the north-east part of the city to the part of the capital at across the river Yamuna on Wazirabad. The bow shaped pylon consists of 2 inclined steel columns, which are rigidly connected to the driving lanes. The upper portion of the pylon anchors the main-span cables as well as the back-stay cables, arranged in a harp like manner. The tip of the pylon will be illuminated visible from afar at night by a 98 ft (30 m) high steel-glass structure, to create a landmark.
