Honorable Delhi High court scanned the Inordinate delay in construction of Signature Bridge
Honorable Delhi High court has asked to the Centre and the Delhi AAP government on the Inordinate delay in construction of Signature Bridge across River Yamuna at wazirabad that when would the project be completed. On Monday the matter came under the scanner of the Delhi High Court. This Bridge will connect to north-east Delhi Trans Delhi Signature City and Mandola Vihar yojana of Awas Vikas Parishad to the other part of Delhi.
The notice to various agencies of the Centre and the Delhi government has issued by the Bench of Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice C. Hari Shankar and sought their replies on the variation in cost since the day the project began. The Bench also ordered a structural and technical audit in two weeks\’ time.
The Delhi High Court has also directed the Centre and the Delhi Government to place on affidavit the timeline of the construction and completion of the Signature Bridge. The court fixed the matter for November 29 for nest hearing.
